Public Relations Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Public Relations Manager, based in Bangkok, Thailand, who will work closely with our global tech client. Apart from project management and client servicing, you’ll take the lead in crafting communication strategies and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure these strategies are executed flawlessly.

What you'll be getting up to:

• Project management and strong execution to ensure all PR activities are delivered according to the clients' budget and timelines, achieving established KPIs are your strong suit.
• You’ll be planning, implementing, analysing, and optimising all PR activities from formulation through to execution, aligning them with the client’s key business objectives.
• You’ll work closely with the tech client and Mutant’s content & PR teams to create aligned communications across all channels and to ensure both strong commercial and consistent brand messages.
• You need to keep track and evaluate KPIs according to the scope and recommend necessary adjustments to optimise overall effectiveness based on measurements.
• You’re to combine creativity with knowledge of the media to recognize media angles and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces, and features across a broad media spectrum.
• You’ll lead on brainstorming sessions and ideate workable programs for new business and upsell existing clients.
• You have established professional relationships and/ or are willing to foster new relationships with clients, colleagues, and the media.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• You have 6-8 years of experience in public relations in an agency environment.
• You bring along strong experience in Tech PR (both B2B and B2C).
• You have a track record in managing PR strategies that drive clients’ business.
• You’re no doubt a confident self-starter and able to drive conversations at the C-suite level.
• You have a solid understanding of the issues and opportunities in the communications industry.
• You have an excellent command of the English language as well as Thai.
• You’re meticulous and able to perform under pressure.
• You have experience managing clients, project timelines and budgets. Communicating effectively across all levels with clients, colleagues and other regional team members.
• You have a strong understanding of the local media landscape.
• You have existing relationships with journalists in Thailand.
